Arsenal Museum

The Arsenal Museum showcases the club’s rich heritage since 1886. Marvel at precious memorabilia including the Invincibles collection, Michael Thomas’ historic Anfield ’89 boots, and Charlie George’s FA Final Cup shirt from 1971. The museum brings to life the greatest moments in Arsenal’s history through a stunning collection of exhibits and interactive displays.

This immersive tour offers both devoted Arsenal supporters and football enthusiasts an authentic glimpse into the inner workings of one of England’s most prestigious football clubs.

Tours are available from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 and 16:00, and on Sundays and bank holidays from 10:00 to 15:30.

Availability for tours may be limited on training and match days, depending on fixtures and events.

Tour dates are usually announced about 2-3 months in advance.

It is generally not possible to make reservations too far ahead due to the unpredictable nature of the schedule.

By Underground

The most convenient Underground stations are:

  • Arsenal Station (Piccadilly Line): The closest station, just 3 minutes walk from the stadium
  • Finsbury Park (Victoria and Piccadilly Lines): About 10 minutes walk
  • Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line and London Overground): Approximately 10 minutes walk

Note that Holloway Road station is exit-only before matches and closed for up to 2 hours afterwards.

By Train

The main rail options include:

  • King’s Cross: The primary mainline station, connecting to Arsenal via the Piccadilly or Victoria lines
  • Finsbury Park: Served by Great Northern Rail
  • Highbury & Islington: Connected by London Overground and Great Northern services

By Bus

Several bus routes serve the stadium area:

  • Routes 153, 259, 263, 271, 29, 393, and 43
  • The main stops are located on Holloway Road, Nag’s Head, Blackstock Road, Highbury Corner, and Seven Sisters Road

Post-Match Travel

A managed queuing system operates at local stations after matches:

  • Arsenal station: Queuing on Gillespie Road
  • Finsbury Park: Queuing on Seven Sisters Road/Isledon Road
  • Highbury & Islington: Queuing on the south side of Holloway Road

By Car

Driving to the stadium is not recommended as:

  • The area has restricted parking on matchdays
  • Limited parking facilities available
  • Located in a residential area with strict parking controls

For Disabled Supporters

  • Finsbury Park and Highbury & Islington stations offer step-free access
  • All London buses are wheelchair accessible
  • Blue Badge holders can park in designated bays around the stadium, subject to availability

The Arsenal Emirates Stadium tour is designed to be accessible for individuals with disabilities. Here are some key points regarding the accessibility of the tour:

– The Emirates Stadium boasts excellent disabled facilities, and all levels are accessible by lift. Registered disabled guests qualify for a concession discount and can bring one personal assistant free of charge.
– The tour begins within the Armoury Store, with access to all levels via a lift. Additionally, disabled parking is available for guests with a valid Blue Badge, but it must be pre-booked.
– Registered guide dogs, hearing dogs, and medical alert dogs are allowed on the Stadium Tour route and in the Museum. There are also 30 handsets available that are loaded with the British Sign Language Tour.
